Since 2025

24 Hour Nursing Care

Stratton House is a CQC-registered nursing home that has been long-standing in the local community for over 11 years. In 2025, the home was taken over by a family-run care group committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Since then, the home has undergone extensive internal and external renovations, creating a warm and welcoming “home from home” environment for residents.

Stratton House supports adults who require 24 hour nursing or personal care, including individuals living with dementia, physical disabilities, or long-term health conditions. Our dedicated team works closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure care is always personalised, respectful, and centred around each individual’s needs and wellbeing. Our journey is defined by the meaningful relationships we build and the familiar routines that bring security and dignity to every resident.

Our Core Principles

Empowerment

We encourage residents to take an active role in decisions about their care, daily routines, and future planning wherever possible. Residents are supported to express their wishes and preferences, and their voices are always listened to and respected.

Independence

We believe independence looks different for every person. We support residents to maintain their abilities, confidence, and daily routines wherever possible, encouraging them to do as much as they safely can for themselves.

Privacy & Dignity

We understand how important privacy and dignity are to every individual. Personal care is always delivered sensitively, respectfully, and in a way that protects each resident’s comfort and personal boundaries.

Respect

Every resident has a unique life story, and we honour this by treating everyone with kindness, understanding and respect. We recognise and support cultural, religious, and personal beliefs, ensuring care is delivered in a way that reflects each individual’s identity and preferences.

Trust

Trust is at the heart of everything we do. We aim to create a safe and reassuring environment where residents and families feel confident in the care provided. We build strong relationships through honesty, consistency, and open communication.

Equality

Stratton House is committed to providing care that is inclusive, fair, and free from discrimination. We support residents from all backgrounds and ensure that individual differences are respected and celebrated.
